Why I take a GAB YEAR + my GOALS

~ That’s where I am going to dedicate this year to. To learning new things! Whether that’s about myself, the world or anything else!

M. NELLA

I graduated from my High School last june. The ‘level’ I did is called VWO and it means pre-university secondary education. There are so many studies that I could do. Yes, I love nature, yet studying biology doesn’t interest me. I love learning new things, but I also love exploring myself and this world. It doesn’t sound attractive to study 5 years just to have to work at a office job to pay back your loan. On top of that you are more likely to work for big coorporations and/or the government. Both aren’t my best friends.

I am blessed and I realize that I have first world problems.

People in other places in the world would love to be able to go study psychology or law. I know. But I also know myself. I know what makes me happy and those 6 years of studying made me realize that I don’t love studying in school. That doesn’t mean I don’t like learning new things, I love it!

That’s where I am going to dedicate this year to. To learning new things! Whether that’s about myself, the world or anything else!

PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE

ABOUT

Affirmation: I completed my photography course.
The why: Photography has always been a passion of mine and I would love to gain more photography skills.

DRIVERS LISENCE

ABOUT

Affirmation: I have my drivers lisence.
The why: Because I want to be able to ride a car. In Dutch this is called Rijbewijs B, I hav eonly had 4 lessons so I am not very good at it.

BUSINESS/BLOG

ABOUT

Affirmation: I learn about online businesses.
The why: No matter how small, I think owning/creating something online can teach you a lot.

BE A BREAKFAST MASTER

ABOUT

Affirmation: I have a healthy and productive start of the day.
The why: Having a healthy start of the day is half of the work for a productive day.

PHYSICAL

ABOUT

Affirmation: I express myself through my physical appearance.
The why: Feeling like yourself in your clothin is very important. It helps you be more authentique <3

CONNECT WITH NATURE

ABOUT

Affirmation: I am connected to nature.
The why: We are all part of nature in the end. Embracing that fact and visiting mother earth more often will keep you grounded and motivated.

ABOUT

Affirmation: I am having fun and living my best life.
The why: Sometimes I can get a little too serious and forget to just live life to the fullest. So this year, I am going to work on that.

SUPPING & SALT WATER

ABOUT

Affirmation: I do supping and visit the ocean often.
The why: So I combined two ‘goals’ here. First, I want to learn supping. Secondly, I would love to visit the ocean more often, maybe in Spain or Italy.
