Set These 6 MONTHLY GOALS you can actually keep
~ Water the plant now, so you can eat its fruits in summer!
We all want to have a successful month!
What even is a successful month?
And how do we get a successful month?
Let’s first focus on the first question: “What even is a successful month?”
I think the answer to this question will be different for everyone. That’s why I will focus on how you can have a successful and productive month, no matter what you are working on. In this blog post I will give you 6 goals that everyone should have.
Not everyone has a monthly goal to make 1K extra money and for some this is also unrealistic. Even if we want it.
By reading this blog post you will find out which goals everyone should set every month. This way you will have a productive month. You may not have achieved all your life goals, however you will feel fulfilled.
As long as you keep your spirit alive, you will take (small) steps that will bring you towards your life goals. I believe it’s important to keep loving yourself and as a result you will be disciplined enough to sacrifice time/energy. In the end you will achieve your dreams if you keep believing in yourself!
Trust yourself and the timing! Everything will be fine <3
So how do we get a successful month?
The steps you need to take will be different for everyone. A simple blog post like this will not tell you what you need to do. However, the goals listed below will help you figure out what you need to do to achieve your life goals. Because honestly, that’s where we should focus the most on. Not on quick satisfaction and instant gratification. Focus on the long term!

Or whenever your time is.
A man who seeds good plants will have good fruits!
Do good and be a good person for yourself and everything around you 😊
1. Go on a date alone
The first thing you need to do is to set a date in your agenda on which you will take yourself on a date. I hear so many stories from people always doing things with other people. These people are not bad people. But in the end you need to know yourself.
By always being with other people, you won’t find out who you are. You will follow the path that others are following. However, this will bring you to where most people are. If that’s what you want: cool! But I do believe that everyone needs to know him or herself. Not just your passions but who you are as an individual.
How do you act when you are alone?
What do you do when you are alone?
2. Learn a new skill
Another really nice goal you should set for this month.
It’s learning a new skill.
And yess! I know some may ask: “Where do I get the time from?”
There are two things you can do:
Make time. Which means, less social media, less binge watching, more planning. Tons of ways you can make time if you ask me 😊
Or change the skill you want to learn. Maybe learning how to knit requires too much time. You can instead learn how to perfect your cooking skills. You have to cook something at the end of the day. Or just take your time with knitting. You can say you learn this skill over 2 or 3 months.
3. Focus on you
In a society that’s focused on comparing yourself to others and focusing on other people’s successes and failures. Let’s focus on ourselves.
Even though we live on a beautiful planet and are part of the collective, it’s important to keep a strong sense of individuality.
I see a lot of people labeling themselves with groups of people. For example: “I am part of LGBTQ”. But is that really who you are? Does it say something about you? Yes, it says something about your sexuality, but that’s not who you are. That’s your ego identifying with these physical things. My opinion is that this says absolutely nothing about.
Focus on your spiritual health!
Don’t focus on what others are wearing or what their beliefs are. Focus on figuring out what your likes and dislikes are. From there, find out what your morals and principles are. Then start to live from here.
Don’t do things for others.
Don’t worry about what others think or say about you.
Do things because they align with your morals and principles!
4. Have a self care day
Because let’s be honest, sometimes we all need a day like that. I think it’s best if you do this every week of course.
However, this might not be realistic for everyone. That’s why you should make it a monthly goal to have at least one self care day.
On a self care day you are going to take care of yourself. What that exactly means is up to you. You can go to a spa or you can go for a long hike. Do what sets your soul on fire.
5. Deep Clean Something
Now something a little less fun to do…
I don’t know what it is but after I have cleaned something I feel good about it. I am proud of myself for investing my time and energy and doing something I don’t like to do.
Of course there are more benefits 😊
One of the benefits of doing a deep clean is… well… something gets cleaned up. And who doesn’t want to live in an organized home?
For me it’s important that things don’t look like a big mess. Of course sometimes it’s a little more messy. However, I find myself being less productive.
If the house is organized, my mind is organized.
Some things or areas you can clean are listed below!
Or it can be as simple as a little drawer.
6. Do something for someone else/Volunteer
And last, but definitely not least:
Do something for another person.
I don’t think this one needs a big explanation or writing. There are so many reasons you should do something for another person.
You can volunteer at the local elderly home, animal shelter, allotments or a school!
Let me know (in the comments) if you are going to get these goals <3 I love reading comment from you guys!
Let today or tonight be an enlightening time and may you connect with nature. Take a deep breath and get in touch with your energy. Just be in this moment!
