Life can get really busy sometimes. We are taking care of the house and making sure everyone has food to eat. However, you should also take care of yourself. Taking care of yourself means listening to your own needs. We are all human, so yes you too have needs.

You deserve to have ‘me-time’. And you should! 

If you never rest, you keep going. Imagine yourself on a hamster wheel, you keep going and going. Faster and faster! You don’t listen to your body and your mind is only focused on continuing. What happens is that your body gives up. You didn’t listen to your body and now you have to pay the price. However… That does not need to happen. If you just make sure your mind stays calm and your body relaxed, you have (almost) nothing to worry about. 

In this article you  will find some very special ideas to spoil yourself. They are based on your zodiac sign. However, any of the ideas below are useful, no matter your zodiac sign. This just adds a little more sauce and depth to the article. Furthermore, I like to incorporate a little magic in my articles. 

Psstt.. don’t just read this, act upon it. Spoil yourself a little today, not tomorrow. I am sure you can find 10 minutes off 🙂

ARIES BADDIES

Hello there fellow Aries baddies! We are busy people, always looking for something new. That’s the thing we start a lot of things… but don’t exactly complete it. This is something we need to work on, because in the long term this can cause stress and problems. 

Now let’s talk about ways you can spoil yourself. As I said, we are very active human beings. Soo… doing something active can be a way to treat yourself. This may sound opposing, but it’s not. 

When I run, even if it’s just 20 minutes, I feel accomplished. Fellow runners know what I am talking about 😉 Moving your body is a requirement when you are an Aries. Thus, we can spoil ourselves by doing a late night workout or running in the morning. Just get out there and move your body!

TAURUS BABY

Hi there taurus babies! Tauruses are the queens when it comes to treating yourself in my opinion. They know how to make themselves feel good. However, you may be so busy with other things, that you forget to turn on this quality.

I am here to tell you to put on the real Taurus hat and take some time off to relax.

Okay, here it comes! I think the ultimate way for a Taurus to spoil him-/herself is to take a bath. And no no no… not just any bath. But the ones you see in movies and read about in books. You know those, the ones with the candles and a book. 

Ughh.. This makes me so sad that I don’t have a bath. But, if I had, I would do this. And if you are a Taurus and have a bath, then there is no way out. Tonight you are going on a romantic date with yourself. To.. well.. your bathroom. Please make it romantic like in those books. Maybe you can even add some rose petals.

GEMINIS

GEMINISS! We all know that geminis are super creative. So of course that is how geminis can spoil themselves. Crab a pen and start writing in your journal. You can write about your day or start writing blog posts, like I do. It doesn’t matter how you do this, the only thing you need to do is express your creativity. Take some time off doing chores and spoil yourself with some free time. 

Another way you can express your creativity is to paint. Everyone can paint, yes you too! Just search on Pinterest for some ideas. You can also check out my pinterest board “art” for ideas. Then try to recreate it and add something of your own. Keep the painting yourself or give it to loved ones. It’s a great way to make someone smile!

CANCER (THE MOST FEMININES)

Hey there Cancers! Cancers are the most feminine according to me. They are ruled by the Moon which is connected to our Menstrual cycle. At least, that’s what I think. Currently I am on my period which started on the New Moon. This is a great time to do Moon rituals. However for Cancers it’s even better! 

During their period is a great time to connect with their Moon. And with that I don’t mean worshiping the moon as a celestial body. No, I mean worshiping your own femininity. Worship the feminine energy that is withIN you. You don’t need to follow rules or rituals to do this, however they may help you. It’s about connecting with your femininity and embracing it. How you do that is up to you.

Spoil yourself by connecting with your inner feminine energy!

LEO (THE MOST MASCULINES)

Leos don’t need a nice introduction. We already know that they are literal Queens and Kings. Everyone looks up to them, whether people realize it or not. Leos just have that *WOW* factor.

What better way is there to embody your inner royal more than to go to a festival? On a festival you can wear clothes you would normally not wear and thus, create a new persona. They can steal the attention of everyone, without coming across as egoistic. To a Leo that seems like heaven. 

Just be yourself, socialize and make memories. Because that’s what life is about and Leo knows that!

VIRGO

VIRGOS, that’s my moon sign! So I know how Virgos notice the details. They see how things could be better, it’s just in our genes you know.  As a result of this eye, that’s constantly on, you may find it hard to relax. Spoiling yourself now and then is extra important when you are a Virgo. It doesn’t really matter what you do, just do something for yourself now and then. 

You could do something like reading or puzzling. Both activities require focus on details and are perfectly suited for a Virgo. 

But, I do think that it’s important for a Virgo to step out of their comfort zone. You may be surprised to enjoy doing a certain activity you never thought of. You could do something more adventurous like going on a (mini) road trip, like a Saggitarius or a morning run, like an Aries. 

LIBRA LOVERS

The lovers of life: LIBRAS! Libras are ruled by Venus, so of course they are all about love. Venus is the physical (yang) side of sensuality. They want to feel the product of sensuality: love. Besides wanting to feel loved they also want to express love. 

For a Libra, life is wayyy too beautiful to not love it.

So the perfect way to spoil themselves is to experience love. Of course they could go on a picnic with their loved ones. But they could also go shopping. I think saying they should go shopping for clothes is a little boring and stereotyping. (Even though that’s literally astrology, stereotyping certain archetypal energies) 

So what I am saying is go shopping for something specific, shop for a cute summer dress. Furthermore, you could shop only cotton or organic skin care products. Make it fun and a challenge instead of just consuming, consuming, consuming.

SCORPIO – THE DIVERS

I almost forgot to add the Scorpios. How could I? Scorpios are ruled by Pluto, and that’s one of my most dominant and favorite planets/archetypes. I think this also describes Scorpios. They are mysterious and seductive. You see them and you know they are there, yet you can’t reach them. Their eyes are deep, just like their aura. Scorpios don’t just like physical or superficial things.

No, they want to dive deep into their own minds and reality. They want to explore it in a different way. 

A Scorpio can spoil themselves by accepting this desire. Accept it because you want to explore the hidden mysteries of this world. A perfect way to do this is to do things at night. The darkness outside adds a deeper layer to this reality and that’s what a Scorpio desires. 

You could go for a late night swim or you could drive around late at night. I always feel my heartbeat beat faster when I am in nature in darkness.

It’s so scary the unknown, yet that’s where I often find peace. I desire the darkness just as much as the light. Because the truth is, this world is dark. Behind the curtain of our eyes, the reality we live in is dark. Most just can’t see it. But if you can.. you are a blessed soul. Btw with this I don’t mean if you live in depression or anxiety you are blessed. It’s about seeing the lies in the media and the truth in yourself. Just wanted to get this out there 🙂

SAGITTARIUS

Finally! SAGITTARIUS! Saggitarius embodies an energy more people should embody. They have a desire that tells them to explore the world. For that reason, going on a road trip is perfect for you. Mind you that you don’t need to go on a road trip for a month to spoil yourself. Even though that’s a great idea, just driving around on new roads for an hour can do wonders to your spirit.

I can’t drive, since I don’t have my drivers license yet. Yesterday (as I write this) I had my first driving lesson, it felt so weird to sit left behind a steering wheel. I hope to get my license soon, so that I can drive around. I love exploring new roads and you should go on one Sagittarius. There is no excuse if you have a driver’s license not to go on one 🙂

CAPRICORN

CAPRICORN! The most classy ones out there! Andd.. my rising sign, so you know what I look like now, f*king hot! Just kidding!

Okay, but back to the point. How can Capricorns spoil themselves? Well they don’t need much. However they do have a strong value: respect. They respect themselves and the world. (not always though, there are capricorns that kill others) I think a great way to spoil themselves is to go back to the basics. Find a calm place in nature and bring your picnic basket. Then just sit there. That’s it. Don’t think of anything. Observe and uncover the roots of your existence, find the sacred patterns in the nature around you. 

Well, that became deep very quickly. See what I did there, no smart talk. We need to stay focused, because here in the Capricorn Club we know what we want and we are going to get it. 

Go spoil yourself Cap, all that negativity is so stupid. What’s it doing around you?

AQUARIUS

A moment of silence because wow, wow, wow. AQUARIUS is amazing! She/He doesn’t follow stupid rules, she/he is different. You have a sense of individuality that’s hard to understand for some. But I get you. You want to be at places others don’t come. Therefore, visiting an abandoned place is perfect. Just do all the crazy stuff you have always dreamt of. Only losers are going to judge you. Live your life and feel the vibrations around you. That’s what you want right? Feeling alive.

PISCES 

The last one, but definitely not the worst one: PISCES. The best way you can spoil yourself is very personal. That’s because Pisces are about diving deep into their own worlds. Going beyond the body and the mind into the spirit. 

The best way you can spoil yourself is by connecting to your spirit. It doesn’t matter how you do it. You can do it through your creativity, meditation or something else.
