Hello there friends! It’s time for a new blog! And this time it’s about how you can look classy and edgy at the same time. As I have studied my style over the years, I have realized I really like this combination. Just take a look at my pinterest board: Beauty.

I like the simplistic and minimalism of the classy style. It’s kinda like my personality, just simple and down to earth. You don’t need all the craziness to stand out. There are already enough of these people. Don’t get me wrong, you can be crazy! Everyone has a crazy side in them. However, I don’t like to show off everything about myself on the first impression. I am a private persona and some may say that I am too secretive. I can’t change it, it’s my nature. I like the hidden.

That brings me to the other style I like: Edgy. I have to be honest, I don’t like the tumblr type of edgy. You know those e-girl vibes. Yeahh, big no for me. I also don’t like satanism, for obvious reasons, therefore that’s also not the type of edgy I have in mind. I like edgy details. I will explain more about this now.

Pinterest helped me figure out my style, I recommend using this platform to find your interest! When I scrolled through the photos I saw a pattern in the looks I pinned. What I saw is that most of the looks were simple, but had a little edge in them. Whether it was an all black look or edgy accessories. I liked the combination of class, with a sparkle of darkness. I think that also represents me. I am simple and free spirited but I also have a certain mystery around me. Most of the time I keep quiet and don’t overshare things in public.

The clothes you wear are the first impression others have of you. If you want to attract a certain type of person, you should wear certain types of clothes. And because you don’t want to attract people that aren’t like you, you need to wear clothes that represent you. It doesn’t matter what your style is, as long as it feels authentic to you.

Don’t mindlessly follow trends. You will end up looking like everyone.

Try to find your own style. It doesn’t need to be with bright colors or crazy patterns. I think it’s about balance. Find out what you like and incorporate trends that you like and go with your body type.

Since I am small, certain clothings look very good on me. But other things make me look like a child or extremely skinny. A long tight dress won’t do anything for me.
