Today we are going to focus on something that’s very important. We are going to focus on how we can embrace our natural beauty more. I think this is very important, especially in the age we live in today.
When you scroll on instagram you see women with small waists but big boobs. This is an ideal image that’s not realistic. Most women have small waists and small boobs or big boobs with bigger waists. That’s how most women look. However we forget that when we scroll on instagram.
I’m sure you have looked at these women and then ask yourself why you can’t look like that. Well… here is that answer. It’s because you are human. A beautiful natural human being created by the most high.
Instead of losing ourselves in the lies that social media pushes into you, let’s focus on the truth. The truth is that everyone is beautiful in their own way.
Stop comparing yourself to other people. They are not you and they don’t walk your path. Let’s all walk our own path and support each other.

Smile at yourself in the mirror 🙂
The first tip is very simple but so crucial. A lot of the time we don’t smile at ourselves in the mirror. Or even worse we look sad. That’s not going to help raise your quality of life.
If you want to enhance your natural beauty, you need to look at yourself with a smile.
A simple way you can do this is by looking at yourself in the mirror and smiling. When you wake up and are doing your hair, smile at yourself.
You are pretty and you should also feel pretty. This way others will also feel your beauty/confidence, this is of course very attractive.
Now let’s focus on our skin. Some are blessed with a baby with soft skin, others may struggle with this.
Why do so many people wear concealer and/or foundation? It’s because they want their skin to look smoother. Duhh… But you don’t need to invest in makeup to get this result. I think investing in quality skin care products can get you a far way. Especially if they are all 100% natural.
I understand that it may be hard to get into skincare, if you have never really paid much attention to it. An easy way to get into this is by having a skincare sunday. You can make it part of your selfcare routine or when you are preparing for the next week.
Oh and excuses like: “I don’t have money for skincare products’ don’t work. Just go on pinterest and type in DIY skincare products and there will be a lot of options. Of course be aware of what you put into your skin and always do your research.
Healthy (long) hair
I have noticed a thing about women who have that natural beauty. They wear no makeup and still look the cutest in the room. A lot of the time these women have long hair. I don’t mean long as in reaching over your butt, but over your shoulder (ya know 🙂 ).
I love long hair! I am currently growing my hair a little longer. Not that it reaches my butt, for me that’s too long. However, I do believe that having long hair is very flattering for a woman. It looks very natural and feminine, I love it!
Your hair can be a great way to express yourself. So if you feel like you are more of a ‘short hair’ type of person. Then by all means go for it! Short hair can look very good on some people.
White & healthy teeth
By now, everyone knows a smile is the best makeup a woman can wear.
Therefore, having a cute smile is very important. Having straight teeth and white teeth looks healthy and therefore more beautiful. I realize that a lot of people aren’t interested in changing their teeth (think of braces or whitening), but I still wanted to mention this little tip.
Get your most healthy weight
Some may find this a little controversial, when you see body positivity everywhere. And (clearly) obese people being the brand ambassadors of sporting wear. I understand that everyone is born with different DNA and some have a faster metabolism than others. However, I do think it’s important to promote a healthy body weight.
What that healthy body weight is, is for everyone different.
I think that being morbidly obese is not healthy for anyone. Letting go of the kilos that don’t improve your quality of life is going to help you be more beautiful. No you don’t need to be a Victoria Secret model, for most that’s unrealistic. However, it’s in human nature to find women without too much extra weight more pleasing to the eye. I mean this in the nicest way possible. <3
If you want to make a huge difference in your appearance (when you are plus size), an ‘easy’ way to achieve this is by letting go of some kilos. I understand that this is very hard for a lot of people.
Side note: If you are already a size 6, there’s no need to lose weight. It’s important to be on YOUR healthy weight <3
Drink your water
Of course I had to put this tip on the list. We have all heard it a million times.
I love water and on some days it’s the only thing I drink. On average, we consist of 65% water. It helps with a lot of processes in our body. It’s important and healthy for your skin to drink enough water. A plus for you if you drink fluoride free water of course. Research it if you are interested, it’s mind blowing if you’ve never heard of it.
Eyebrows on fleek
Back to the face. The face is the first thing/area people see when they meet you.
Having your eyebrows look fleek will have a huge impact on your face. You can do some research into what type of eyebrow suits your face(the shape). If the eyebrows are looking good, the face is looking good.
Cold showers have been proven to be very healthy for your mind and body. I could write an entire article about all the health benefits.
One of the benefits is that it increases your circulation in your body. If showering the whole time in a cold shower is too much. You can try to alternate between hot and cold every 30 seconds, ending the shower session with cold water.
Did you know that the cold water can also help keep your boobs firm?
If you want to look more alive and healthy whether we are talking about your face or boobs, take a cold shower.
Find out what colors suit you…
… and wear them more often.
We often put people in two boxes when it comes to their skin color. (A stupid thing to do, if you ask me) You are either black or white.
Of course, skin colors are not as simple as that. We all have undertones that make us colder, warmer or neutral. And because of this, some colors suit our skin complexion, but not others and vice versa.
When I wear certain colors I kinda look like a ghost who just got up from bed. But then I wear other colors that suit my skin and I look way more beautiful. Colors can definitely enhance your natural beauty.
